​Piedmontese Beef is Healthy and Delicious
We raise Angus-Piedmiontese Beef. Let me tell you why Piedmontese beef is special. There are an estimated 15,000 Piedmontese cattle located in the U.S. and Canada, which is only ONE PERCENT of all cattle breeds raised in these countries. What makes them different is a unique genetic strain that provides a higher lean-to-fat ratio, thus less marbling for a less-connective tissue cut of red meat. In short, this beef is lower in calories, higher in protein, and contains a higher percentage of the healthy Omega 3 fat. When you look at it, you will see marbling, but not as much as regular beef. Research confirms that Piedmontese beef contains high amounts of the Essential Fatty Acid, CLA (Conjugated Linoleic Acid).
